Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials efficiently within warehouse and yard settings
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklift equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Train new hires on safe forklift operation procedures
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating industrial forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments
- Basic computer literacy for WMS operations
