Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and warehouse transactions
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations
- Train new operators on equipment and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
