Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Safely load/unload freight using proper rigging and handling techniques
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow
- Train on new equipment and safety standards as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Clean driving record and pre-employment drug screen required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends if needed
