Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and hydraulic equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse efficiency
- Train new operators on safety procedures and equipment operation
- Support inventory audits and cycle count initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- 2+ years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
