Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA regulations
- Manage inventory control systems using RF scanners and WMS software
- Coordinate cross-functional team movements for efficient loading/unloading
- Maintain accurate documentation of material transfers and warehouse activities
- Implement strict quality control measures for high-value goods
- Conduct daily equipment safety inspections and preventative maintenance
- Optimize storage layouts to maximize warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse/material handling experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification with clean driving record
- Proficiency in inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred
- Experience with hazardous materials handling (OSHA 1910.120) a plus
