Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage inventory flow using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) with OSHA compliance
- Coordinate cross-functional team activities to meet daily production targets
- Maintain precise documentation of material movements and inventory counts
- Uphold stringent safety protocols and 5S workplace organization standards
- Optimize warehouse space utilization through strategic stacking and rotation
- Train new staff on material handling best practices and equipment operation
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in high-volume warehouse environments
- Valid forklift certification and powered industrial equipment proficiency
- Proven ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with proper techniques
- Advanced knowledge of inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle WMS preferred)
- OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in logistics preferred
