Responsibilities
- Accurately pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment using advanced scanning systems
- Optimize packing processes to minimize material waste and maximize efficiency
- Maintain real-time inventory accuracy through systematic cycle counting
- Operate automated packing equipment with precision and safety awareness
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure 99.9% order accuracy
- Train new packers on proprietary warehouse management systems
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of high-volume order packing experience
- Proficiency with warehouse automation systems (WMS, RF scanners)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Valid California driver's license (for equipment operation)
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding productivity metrics
