Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load/untract commercial trucks and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling
- Verify inventory accuracy through systematic scanning and documentation systems
- Maintain optimal warehouse organization following OSHA safety protocols and 5S principles
- Operate material handling equipment with precision and minimal downtime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping targets
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in warehouse operations or logistics
- Valid forklift certification and proven equipment operation skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management experience
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) technology
- Excellent physical stamina and weather adaptability for dock work
- Valid driver's license with clean record
