Responsibilities
- Retrieve items from shelves and storage areas based on pick tickets and customer orders.
- Verify item descriptions, quantities, and barcodes to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Report inventory discrepancies and damaged goods to the supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or fulfillment centers is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily productivity targets.
- Valid forklift certification (if required for role).
