Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate with warehouse team to prioritize shipments and maintain organized storage areas
- Accurately document inventory movements and maintain digital/physical records
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized, and hazard-free workspaces
- Collaborate with supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift certification (or ability to obtain within first week)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse environment
- Ability to read and interpret shipping/receiving documents and inventory labels
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to work in fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment
