Responsibilities
- Operate high-reach and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure equipment safety and functionality.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders to meet daily shipping deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Verify inventory counts and update warehouse management systems (WMS) as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and resolve logistical challenges.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid, current Forklift Operator Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended shifts.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and basic mechanical aptitude.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and varying shift schedules as required.
