Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse/distribution environments
- Safely load/unload trucks and containers using pallet jacks and material handling equipment
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance
- Maintain accurate inventory records via WMS systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow
- Train on new equipment technologies as needed
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current or ability to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 2 years recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays during peak seasons
