Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload, sort, and distribute incoming materials using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain accurate inventory records through WMS systems and barcode scanning
- Package and prepare outgoing shipments with quality control checks
- Operate material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Uphold 5S principles for workplace organization and safety
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience required
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficient with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
