Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Efficiently pick items from the warehouse shelves and pack them securely into boxes or crates for shipment.
- Inventory Accuracy: Use handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure 100% accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure proper labeling and packaging before shipping.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and keep your work area clean and organized.
- Load and Unload: Assist in loading outbound trucks and unloading inbound shipments efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the logistics team to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, packing, or logistics role is preferred but not required (training provided for qualified candidates).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform heavy manual labor in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail are essential.
- Communication: Basic English skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability to Pass Background Check: Must be willing to undergo a standard background check.
