Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage and mentor a team of 15-20 warehouse associates, providing training and performance feedback
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Optimize inventory control systems and implement process improvements
- Coordinate with transportation teams for efficient loading/unloading of trucks
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling
- Generate performance reports and analyze operational metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in fast-paced environments
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising 10+ team members
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
