Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping orders.
- Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and schedule warehouse staff to maximize productivity and ensure high morale.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage inventory discrepancies using WMS software.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all outgoing shipments meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement new strategies to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- License: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFO) and valid Driver's License required.
- Skills: Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
