Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Accurately receive, stock, and inventory materials using RF scanners
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Maintain OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections and safety protocols
- Support inventory control initiatives via cycle counts and reconciliation
- Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and order pickers
- Collaborate with supervisors to resolve operational bottlenecks
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 72 hours)
- Minimum 1 year recent warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Forklift certification (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck preferred)
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
