Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials throughout the facility.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment; maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanners.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Loading/Unloading: Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work area to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (for reach truck, sit-down, or stand-up forklifts) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Basic math skills and the ability to read and comprehend work instructions and safety labels.
