Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to safely move, load, and unload goods in warehouse/dock environments
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with OSHA standards
- Execute inventory management tasks including scanning, counting, and recording product movements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Maintain organized work areas and adhere to all safety protocols
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns to supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 72 hours of hire)
- Minimum 1 year prior forklift operation experience in warehouse/logistics setting
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
