Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load/unload trucks and containers
- Move raw materials and finished products between storage areas, production lines, and loading docks
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Accurately track inventory using warehouse management systems and barcode scanners
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflow and productivity
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized, and hazard-free work environments
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain within 48 hours of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse/distribution settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory tracking systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
