Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using WMS systems
- Process inbound/outbound shipments with barcode scanning and documentation
- Maintain accurate digital and physical inventory records in compliance with federal regulations
- Collaborate with procurement teams to optimize stock levels and reorder points
- Generate monthly inventory reports for executive review and compliance audits
- Implement FIFO/FEFO inventory rotation protocols
- Train warehouse staff on inventory management best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years inventory management experience in regulated environments
- Proficiency with WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10 training preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table expertise
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in temperature-controlled warehouses
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical precision
- US citizenship required for government-contracted facility access
- Valid DC driver's license preferred
