Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inventory counts using barcode scanners and manual verification methods
- Maintain accurate digital records in ERP/WMS systems with zero tolerance for discrepancies
- Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to resolve inventory variances
- Perform cycle counts and physical audits monthly to ensure data integrity
- Process incoming/outgoing shipments with meticulous documentation
- Generate inventory reports for management analysis and forecasting
- Implement FIFO protocols and optimize warehouse space utilization
Qualifications
- 2+ years of inventory control or warehouse experience required
- Proficiency with barcode scanners and inventory management software
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) for data analysis
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Forklift certification (OSHA preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
