Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies using barcode scanning systems
- Maintain accurate digital records of all warehouse stock, including location tracking and lot numbers
- Coordinate with procurement teams to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts
- Generate weekly/monthly inventory reports for management review
- Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) protocols and conduct cycle counts
- Collaborate with shipping/receiving teams to ensure seamless inventory flow
- Utilize ERP software (SAP experience preferred) for real-time inventory updates
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in logistics preferred
- 2+ years of inventory management or warehouse experience
- Proficiency in inventory software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
- Basic knowledge of supply chain principles
