Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle counts and spot checks to verify inventory accuracy against system records.
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments, ensuring they match purchase orders.
- Maintain up-to-date digital logs and physical stock sheets for all warehouse inventory.
- Assist in the organization and layout of storage areas to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Identify and report damaged or missing inventory items to the supervisor promptly.
- Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to resolve stock discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations within the warehouse.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate counting and reconciliation.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work flexible shifts.
