Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies in real-time
- Maintain digital and physical records of all warehouse stock using WMS software
- Coordinate with procurement team to optimize reorder points and minimize stockouts
- Implement FIFO/FEFO protocols for perishable goods handling
- Generate weekly inventory reports for management review
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during cycle counts and audits
- Train new staff on inventory management best practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years inventory control experience in warehousing/logistics
- Proficiency with WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong analytical skills with attention to 99.9% accuracy
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
