Responsibilities
- Maintain real-time inventory counts using barcode scanners and ERP systems
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure 99.9% accuracy
- Process inbound/outbound shipments and update inventory records
- Generate weekly inventory reports for management analysis
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize storage layouts
- Implement FIFO protocols and track expiration dates for perishables
- Train new hires on inventory procedures and safety protocols
Qualifications
- 2+ years inventory management or warehouse experience
- Proficiency with barcode scanners and inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework a plus
