Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain 99.9% accuracy
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanners for real-time inventory tracking
- Process inbound/outbound shipments and coordinate with transportation teams
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis
- Generate inventory reports and KPIs for operational improvement
- Maintain organized storage systems and implement FIFO protocols
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to optimize stock levels
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of inventory control or warehouse experience
- Proficiency with WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and barcode technology
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Forklift certification preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
