Responsibilities
- Maintain precise inventory records using WMS software and manual tracking systems
- Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies with purchase orders
- Coordinate stock movements between warehouse zones and transportation hubs
- Generate inventory reports for management and compliance purposes
- Implement FIFO rotation protocols and monitor stock expiration dates
- Collaborate with purchasing team to optimize reorder points
- Train staff on inventory procedures and best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years inventory control or warehouse experience
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Forklift certification preferred
- Experience with barcode scanning technology
- Basic knowledge of OSHA warehouse safety standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
