Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies using barcode scanning systems
- Maintain accurate digital records in ERP/WMS software with real-time updates
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and verify packing slips against purchase orders
- Implement FIFO rotation protocols and monitor stock expiration dates
- Generate inventory reports for management and identify optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with procurement teams on reorder points and stock allocation
- Audit warehouse layouts and improve space utilization efficiency
Qualifications
- 2+ years of inventory control or warehouse experience
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Fishbowl)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience with barcode scanners and RFID technology
- Basic knowledge of OSHA safety standards in warehouse environments
