Responsibilities
- Conduct Regular Audits: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies with warehouse management.
- Manage Stock Levels: Monitor inventory levels continuously and initiate reordering processes to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Process Shipments: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and accuracy, ensuring proper tagging and documentation.
- System Updates: Input inventory data accurately into ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS) in real-time.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storage area, adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Report Discrepancies: Investigate and report inventory variances to supervisors to resolve issues promptly.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate handheld scanners, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using barcode scanners and inventory management software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors, manage large amounts of data, and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods; good hand-eye coordination.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and available for full-time shifts, including occasional overtime.
