- Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Operate barcode scanners and maintain real-time inventory databases
- Process inbound/outbound shipments with proper documentation
- Generate inventory reports for management analysis
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize storage layouts
- Implement FIFO rotation procedures for perishable goods
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols in all operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years inventory control or warehouse experience
- Proficiency with barcode scanners and inventory software
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle preferred)
- Valid Illinois driver's license for occasional site visits
