Job Summary:
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, conducting physical counts, and ensuring inventory accuracy across all departments. You will play a vital role in our daily operations by identifying discrepancies and maintaining an organized warehouse layout.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts and monthly physical inventories with high accuracy.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies between the warehouse management system and physical stock.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, errors, or shortages.
- Update and maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system.
- Organize warehouse shelves and storage areas to optimize workflow and safety.
- Report damaged or lost inventory to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist in the labeling and tagging of new stock items.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer skills and inventory software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
