Responsibilities
- Conducting Audits: Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and integrity across all storage zones.
- Data Management: Maintain and update digital inventory records using advanced warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software to reflect real-time stock levels.
- Stock Replenishment: Monitor inventory turnover rates and coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure timely restocking of high-demand items.
- Reporting: Generate accurate inventory reports and analyze variances to identify trends, discrepancies, or potential shrinkage issues.
- Equipment Handling: Utilize barcode scanners, handheld terminals, and RFID technology to log incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Warehouse Organization: Ensure the storage area remains organized, clean, and safe for all personnel and equipment by adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel) and experience with inventory management software (e.g., NetSuite, Fishbowl, SAP, or Oracle).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate a busy warehouse environment safely.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with a strong focus on data accuracy and error prevention in high-volume settings.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and management.
