Responsibilities
- Receiving and Inspection: Verify incoming shipments against packing slips, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality before processing them into the system.
- Inventory Auditing: Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure stock levels match system records, identifying and resolving discrepancies immediately.
- Data Management: Maintain and update inventory databases using ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) with 100% accuracy.
- Stock Organization: Organize warehouse storage areas efficiently, ensuring proper labeling, rotation (FIFO), and accessibility of stock for warehouse staff.
- Shipment Preparation: Assist in preparing outbound shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately to meet delivery deadlines.
- Reporting: Generate and review inventory reports to identify trends, monitor shrinkage, and recommend process improvements to management.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Warehouse Associate, or in a similar logistics role is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using barcode scanners, handheld devices, and inventory management software.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain high levels of accuracy in data entry.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver around a warehouse environment safely.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
