Responsibilities
- Perform regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories to ensure stock accuracy.
- Update and maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Label, stock, and organize inventory in designated storage areas.
- Prepare and process stock for shipping, ensuring proper packaging and documentation.
- Identify and report damaged or missing inventory to management immediately.
- Collaborate with the purchasing and sales teams to ensure stock availability.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Stock Clerk, or Warehouse Associate preferred.
- Proficiency in using barcode scanners, handheld devices, and inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets and formulas).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
