Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Perform regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain stock integrity.
- Log inventory data accurately into the company’s ERP system and database.
- Organize stockroom and warehouse areas to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance.
- Assist in the preparation and packaging of outgoing orders, verifying quantities and labels.
- Identify and report discrepancies or damaged goods immediately to the warehouse supervisor.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to reorder stock based on inventory levels and sales forecasts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Stock Clerk, or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift certification (not required but highly valued).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
