Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable AI infrastructure, focusing on high-availability and low-latency systems.
- R&D Strategy: Identify and prototype emerging AI technologies (e.g., multimodal models, agentic workflows) to stay ahead of the 2026 technology curve.
- Model Optimization: Fine-tune large language models and vision transformers for specific industry verticals, optimizing for inference speed and cost-efficiency.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior and senior engineers, conducting code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical workshops.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate complex AI capabilities into user-centric product features.
- Ethical AI: Implement guardrails and safety protocols to ensure AI outputs align with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in leading AI/ML architecture.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Specialized Knowledge: Expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Reinforcement Learning (RL).
- System Design: Proven track record of designing distributed systems capable of handling massive concurrent loads.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
