Job Description
Join the Architects of Tomorrow
Nebula Horizon Labs is at the forefront of defining the technological landscape for 2026 and beyond. We are seeking a visionary Lead AI Research Scientist to pioneer breakthroughs in next-generation machine learning architectures. If you are driven by the challenge of solving complex, unsolved problems and shaping the future of sentient computing, we want to hear from you.
Why This Role?
You won't just be maintaining existing models; you will be defining the roadmap for the next decade. Our 2026 initiative focuses on bridging the gap between Generative AI and Adaptive Reasoning, creating systems that learn, adapt, and evolve autonomously.
Responsibilities
- Architect Proprietary Neural Frameworks: Design and implement cutting-edge deep learning models capable of processing multi-modal data streams with zero latency.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead the development of the Nebula Core, our proprietary engine designed to forecast market trends and biological patterns.
- Optimize for Edge Computing: Ensure our large-scale models can be deployed efficiently on decentralized edge devices and quantum-ready hardware.
- Publish and Patent: Lead the internal research team in publishing high-impact papers at top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML) and securing patents for novel algorithms.
- Ethical AI Governance: Establish and enforce rigorous safety protocols to ensure AI alignment with human values in future iterations.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field with a focus on AI.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in machine learning research, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior research capacity.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and experience with large language model (LLM) fine-tuning and optimization.
- Innovation: A proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals and a deep understanding of current research trends leading into 2026.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic business insights for stakeholders.
