Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for 2026-2030 product roadmaps
- Direct cross-functional innovation sprints with 50+ engineers and designers
- Present future scenarios to board members and external stakeholders
- Manage $2M annual innovation budget for experimental projects
- Build and maintain global network of 100+ futurist thought partners
- Drive patent strategy for next-gen IP portfolio
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 12+ years experience in strategic innovation or R&D leadership
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Experience scaling innovation teams from 5 to 50+ members
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
