Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 strategic vision frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive trends and paradigm shifts
- Design and facilitate scenario planning workshops for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Author high-impact foresight publications and thought leadership content
- Manage innovation incubation programs for next-gen technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present future outlooks to investors, clients, and industry consortiums
- Mentor futurist teams and integrate foresight methodologies into company operations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing long-term strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, sustainable tech, neurotech)
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, weak signal detection)
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences and thought leadership publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) highly desirable
