Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies, socioeconomic shifts, and emerging consumer behaviors
- Produce strategic foresight reports and scenario-planning models for 2026+ market landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-oriented priorities and innovation pipelines
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into R&D roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, conference keynotes, and industry forums
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation analysts while cultivating external expert networks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy and organizational change
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning methodologies, and horizon scanning tools
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation publications
