Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable quantum network architectures utilizing superconducting qubits and photonic links to achieve global coverage.
- Oversee the integration of post-quantum cryptography (PQC) into legacy infrastructure to ensure future-proof security protocols.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize error correction protocols and maintain qubit coherence over long distances.
- Lead a cross-functional team of quantum physicists and software developers to troubleshoot complex entanglement distribution issues.
- Define technical roadmaps for the company's transition to fully quantum-secure operations by Q3 2026.
- Conduct rigorous performance testing and simulation to validate network reliability under high-load scenarios.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Proven experience with quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, specifically regarding superposition and entanglement.
- Strong background in classical networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSI) and how they adapt to quantum environments.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing cross-functional technical teams.
