In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical application, building the next generation of fault-tolerant algorithms and optimizing qubit coherence for large-scale deployment.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable quantum algorithms using industry-standard frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, and Q#.
- Develop advanced error mitigation and noise reduction strategies to enhance computational fidelity.
- Collaborate closely with hardware physicists to translate physical qubit constraints into efficient software solutions.
- Lead the design of cloud-native quantum APIs for seamless enterprise integration.
- Publish high-impact research papers and contribute to open-source quantum computing communities.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical best practices within the quantum software team.
Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on quantum mechanics.
- 3+ years of professional experience with quantum computing frameworks, libraries, and simulators.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and parallel programming models.
- Experience working with superconducting qubits or trapped ion technologies.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems.
- A track record of innovation in computational complexity or algorithm design.
