About the Role: As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials within our warehouse. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to designated areas
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Inspect materials for damage and report any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly production goals
- Assist in receiving, processing, and shipping orders
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in material handling is a plus
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
