Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials throughout the facility
- Accurately count, verify, and document inventory using warehouse management systems
- Load/unload shipments while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards
- Maintain organized storage areas and implement FIFO inventory rotation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and shipping schedules
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or material handling experience
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with inventory management software or willingness to learn
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional overtime
