Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Manage inventory counts and update warehouse management systems
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams to maintain workflow efficiency
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Prepare and pack shipments according to specifications
- Collaborate with supervisors to optimize storage layouts
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or material handling experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
