Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse zones with precision
- Operate material handling equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Maintain clean and organized workspace following 5S methodology
- Utilize warehouse management systems for real-time inventory tracking
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; warehouse certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year material handling experience in fast-paced environment
- Valid forklift certification and equipment operation proficiency
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with proper techniques
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends when needed
