Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, load, and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Verify inventory accuracy through systematic scanning and documentation processes
- Maintain organized storage areas following 5S methodology and safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow and minimize downtime
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) for real-time inventory tracking
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits with precision
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation skills
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse software systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to complete
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
