Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, load, and unload raw materials and finished products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through systematic scanning and record-keeping
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including OSHA compliance and equipment operation
- Organize warehouse space to optimize storage capacity and accessibility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) for real-time tracking
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly with proper technique
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and overtime
