Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, store, and distribute raw materials and finished products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory records through barcode scanning and warehouse management system updates
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal safety and performance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and shipping deadlines
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and 5S organizational principles
- Process incoming/outgoing shipments with proper documentation and quality checks
- Optimize storage layouts to maximize space utilization and accessibility
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or material handling experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficient with inventory management systems and barcode scanning
- Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math and computer literacy skills
